1. 11-1 with a loss to Bama, win the SEC West

2. 11-1 with a win over Bama, don't win the SEC West.

3 10-2 or 9-3, don't win the SEC West.

Why would you even include the third option?

2.

Because that would be LSU losing to an undefeated SEC West champ, and it would probably still put them in a great chance to be in the playoff barring a multitude of other undefeated teams from other conferences.

Miles really has to beat Bama this year, IMO.

Because there are people among us who desire the downfall of Miles more than the success of LSU.

My personal preference is, and always will be, win the SEC West.

Could you imagine if LSU lost to Bama and then beat them in the Championship game? That scenario is almost better than going undefeated.

No. 1 is the obvious answer, but it is also the toughest road to the playoffs. No. 2 would probably make the playoffs, but avoid a tough SEC Championship game.

I almost stated that no one would pick No. 3, but there are plenty of negaTigers and trolls to do so. (Is HumanElement banned?)

Obviously #3
Why would you even include that as an option?

2 is the obvious answer. We would have beaten Bama, be in the playoff without having to play an extra game.

Hi

I see his mistake. He shouldve phrased the question as," who that doesnt like the taste of male ejaculate would choose option 3?"

You're assuming a lot here. I almost clarified number 2 by saying that the SEC West champ is not undefeated just to avoid this response.

But until proven otherwise, I believe a one-loss conference champ will get in over a one-loss non-conference champ every time.

The point of the question, if there is one, is to determine where people put their priorities. For me, winning the SEC West will always trump beating Bama.

very, very little chance the committee will put us in the playoff if we don't win the West. The BCS did that (two SEC teams) back in 2011 and got crucified for it.

I think the committee won't have the stones to put two teams from one conference in the playoff - that would mean two Power 5 conference champs get left out.

Just not going to happen, even if we're deserving.

Save yourself. Edit 3 to: 10-2 or 9-3, don't win the SEC West and Les gets fired.
