Whether you support Miles or not, because of what has transpired in the last two weeks he has to go. No matter what decision has been made, our recruiting is dead for the next two recruiting periods if Miles is allowed to stay. The "No Confidence" status that Coach Miles now has from our administration has killed our recruiting as long as Les is our coach. Every coach in the SEC is now telling recruits that Les is gone in 18 months.

This entire scenario has been handled poorly at best. To survive as a premiere program, we have no choice but to move on. I'm a Les Miles fan/sunshine pumper, but because of the leaks/actions of the powers that be, if we allow Coach to remain through the 2016 season we will be at a serious disadvantage in recruiting while Coach Miles is still in place. This is by design by the BOD and Alleva. I'm not happy about it, but I'm a realist. It's time to move on for better or for worse.

did you really need to get this off your chest or something. This same point has been twisted a million different ways on this board, just shut the hell up already.

We are going to spend 15 million to promote Yaw Yaw (Ed Orgeron) to head coach. I agree we have poisoned the Les Miles well. No one will want this job now. We should have got our guy lined up and pulled the trigger after the R Kansas game.

Dark times ahead...

Actually I don't think this can be stated enough. If by some outside chance the turn of events end with Miles staying, the PR LSU will have to spin will be unprecedented. Of course, the team could go undefeated in '16 and win the NC which would make one of the most epic stories in all of sports.

As I stated in the OP, I am a Les Miles supporter. I think the actions of the BOD and Alleva are irresponsible at best. But I am also rational and see that the damage has already been done. And, yes, I needed to get this off my chest.
