I dont understand why so many are so quick to throw JL out.
As many bad plays as the kid had last yr, he played very well at times too... plus he's the only guy that has any exp to speak of.
We should all hope and EXPECT that JL comes out this spring and fall gunning for JJ and getting his starting job back., if he in fact has even lost it.

PLEASE TAKE MY SKULL OFF NOW!!!

At the bash week or so ago I got into a conversation with 4-5 guys I didnt know concerning this ab situation.. most of them were on the fence with both qbs, howver this one kid starts going off on JL saying he sucks, should transfer,blablabla... in about 2-3 mins I had this dude speechless, I ask him a question or two (that I knew he didnt know answer too) about both qbs, plays during ther yr, differnt drives.
The point is alot of times, espec on these message board you will find yourlsef in arguement with a complete fuking idiot.. basically some stupid kid that dont shite.

MOst logical LSU fans know that last yr was tough on our qbs going in just from the lack of exp standpoint, and the competition this yr will benefit both guys. JL is good qb or he wouldnt have gotten a offer from LSU, same for JJ.
Our Defense was the main dissapointment last yr and the ultimate reason for a 5 loss season.

Had alot of JL INT's not been pick 6 alot of LSU fans would not have complained as much.
Its honestly that simple, if defense hadn't allowed a shite load of points we win 2 extra games also but season is over.
We shall see what JJ does in a full season

Why would anyone of our QBs want to leave?

The incumbents from last year are a redshirt sophomore who lost his starting job due to throwing too many interceptions, and a sophomore starter with a couple of game starts.

The two incoming freshman QBs are very confident of their ability and think they can compete for playing time next year.

So... then that's a yes? You accept my bet? 'Cause I can guarantee you the boosters along with the rest of the fans would throw a shite-fit if Lee starts next year. One of the biggest reasons that we're starting so high in the pre-season polls is because "we found a viable QB in Jordan Jefferson".

You are fuking stupid.
My wife's boss is a very well repsected, veteran member BOS at LSU.
I have been a member of gridiron club since sabans second year.
Two of the more popular well know respected LSU fans are personal friends of mine.
The reason I tell you these things is bc I have spoken to these people (more than once) about this qb situation. A couple of these guys know WTF is going on within our football program.
I knew Peveto and mallory were leaving and where they were going well before christmas, the person who told me got in straight form Coach Miles.

Intelligent fans understand the situation that RP and our Def put us in with these young qbs....

When I read STUPID GARBAGE like the above, I cant help to call someone out on it. I understand everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, however sometimes it just needs to stop.

You're starting to confuse me after our conversation on the other thread.

What's your deal?

I just hope Jarrett Lee doesn't start for us. He singlehandedly lost the Bama game. HE ALONE lost that game. And he did a pretty good job at losing the Ole Miss and Georgia games as well. HE SUCKS. I hope JJ starts. He did great the bowl game and the Arkansas game.

jarrett lee might be one of the greatest unsung LSU quarterbacks ever... not starting another game... he could be great help in jeferson, shepard and garrett's development... and great for the defense

No. It sucks he had to play this early. NO need to overreact though. Stafford sucked his first year. McCoy was an interception machine the year before last. He obviously has talent and an arm. Now he needs an offseason to learn.

What in the hell did you see that would justify putting JL over JJ. Please, I'll listen to any rational response.
Les Miles and Gary Crowton starting JL ahead of JJ for 6 games until JL got hurt. If you honestly thought that anything you saw, thought or imagined could be as persuasive as the evidence of Miles and Crowton's actions with their own millions of dollars in salary and decades of professional reputation on the line, then you would be quite delusional.

i'm not gonna get on this board and bash anyone on our team nor wish someone fails so the other succeeds, these guys all have one purpose ,to reach the nc,giving an opinion is one thing but trashing jl cause of his lack of experience, i just wish some of these lee haters would just get out there in front of packed stadiums and perform with even twice the experience he has and see how you would react to people cursing and booing and trashing your name .get a freakin life !half of you will probably not even succeed in anything in life anyway, and you have the nerve to call someone a loser, F**K YOU!

I think im a booster and a fan at the same time.
SO there's one of us down that wouldn't have a "shite-fit."

The JL issue is so hot because it is so hot. Worries, uncertainties, some good memories (Auburn) and some bad pain (the pic6 X 7). The bottom line... its going to be interesting. I hop JL pushes the other QB's to be their absolute best. That's what I hope. And the best plays. That will happen. No doubt. My dominating thought, though, is if Hatch beat out JL to start the 08 year, and we know Hatch's skill level, does Lee have it to beat out a more experienced JJ and a RS that may be more special than anyone can imagine???? Question his ability??? You need to !!

are you sure they are grown men.they beat the kid down when the shite goes bad and it don't matter if its his fault or not. the same people will talk about how great he is when he does good. people just have to bitch about something. he can't be blamed for the problems we had last year. alot of shite happened that made all this possible such as rp getting his sorry arse kicked off the team and the poor defensive play and also the poor play calling on offense but all i hear is lee is a shitty player which i believe is complete bullshite.this was a growing pain we had to go through with a freshman qb that wasn't supposed to play until this year and now the season is over so lets move on.
