I'm betting the bulk of them didn't witness Curley's final season.

I was at his final home game, an 18-17 loss to Southern Miss. The crowd was announced at 60,000, but in reality it was about 35,000 at best (in what was a 78,000 seat stadium at the time). I drove thru campus and wouldn't have known there was a game that day.

Curley was fired the next day. Of course, everybody knew it was coming, even before the loss.

That's not gonna happen.

LSU's got that money. I've never seen them give it back.

Customers are not the season ticket holders and fans. Customers are the SEC Headquarters and SEC Contracts with TV ...

Hey Joe, shouldn't you be busy destroying what's left of the athletic department? Oh, you suck by the way.

Given O's behavior so far, if this season goes as some are expecting, it's almost guaranteed he's going to do something stupid to provide LSU with cause to fire him, whether that is assaulting another coach, player, reporter, or just drinking himself into a coma.

The guy is a certified moron that legitimately thinks none of this is his fault. Let that sink in for a moment.

Paying 2 coaches not to coach is very catastrophic to the future of LSU.The program has been in decline for a few years. Its cyclic. We will be back.It helps when top administration is top notch. But for LSU not so right now!

LSU fans have been pooped on by the administration and athletic department for some time.

Now that the wins are going to be harder to come by they are about to have to live with the decisions of the last 10-12 years.

We need a booster to hire someone to provoke Coach O into punching him, hire a high dollar prostitute, something to get him fired for cause. 12 million is a ludicrous buyout for his level of experience and his prior record.

My worry going forward is if LSU could get a top tier coach now? We fired a coach that put up 10 wins a season, but couldn't beat Bama. Then want to fire a coach 5 games in to his first season. What top coach in his right mind would want to come? It was time for Les to go and I was not a big fan of O hire, but was willing to see. However with current situation, LSU just isn't getting top coach. There will have to be major changes for one to feel good about LSU!!!

It would have to be an up-and-coming mid-major conference coach. Relatively low base salary with a lot of incentives.

This is moronic. You can't pay people 20 mill to not coach here. It'll get sorted out. But it's not a slap in the face to be fiscally intelligent after you were fiscally idioc. They'll lay in the bed they made, at least for one more season.
