Referee Crew - LSU v UT

Got into an discussion with a co-worker today on who will be reffing the game. Will it be a Big 12 crew?
I am on the side of it being neither Big 12 or SEC, but an unaffiliated non-Big12/SEC reffing crew.
The reason the argument came up: the horns down penalty is a Big 12 interpretation of taunting. If its not a Big 12 crew, maybe they don't call it. I don't care about the answer to this question though, that was just "water cooler" conversation.

That's because it was a neutral site game. Home-and-away series are usually officiated by the conference of the visiting team.

NCAA needs to do away with conference crews. Break it all up and implement strict guidelines regarding team/official affiliation.

I think the home and home games and neutral site games recently have been officiated pretty fairly and a lot better than the SEC morons we're used to

i dont see why it would be another conferences refs...this isnt a neutral site nor some type of bowl kickoff type game...it is just a regular ooc game that just so happens to be between two top 25 teams...Unless it was a special provision in the contract i see this being a Big 12 crew and next year would be a SEC Crew

There are 22 guys flying around the field on every play.
Every team in every game can find calls that went against them. There are also an equal number of calls that go for them, but fans don't remember those.
Stop with the "biased refs" excuse. It's just not there.
