I know he can practice with the team. Can he dress out for the bowl game?

Settle down, everybody. Watch a replay of the JUCO title game played Sunday. That'll sober you.

According to one of the local recruiting guru's in BR, he should start practicing with the team no later than the 17th. He said he could not dress for the game. Not sure if that was a Miles decision or an NCAA decision. May be related to the number of bodies allowed to dress and travel for bowl games and the reward to other players participating through the entire season.

His worst game of the year. His season stats are awesome. He has 1 year in UGA's system with Richt who CAN develop solid QB's and 1 season on the top level of JUCO competition. Add that to the fact he is an early enrollee and can learn the offense in the Spring and I say he'll be ready come fall to start. Or at least come in the 2nd game so he doesn't have to start with Oregon on the road.

During an incident when he was accused of fondling a female patron at a bar, Mettenberger was charged with misdemeanor charges of underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct, obstruction and two counts of possession of false identification. In early May, he pled guilty to two misdemeanor counts of sexual battery and received two concurrent 12-month periods of probation under the State of Georgia’s first-offender act. According to a story on ESPN.com, Mettenberger was ordered to pay $2,000 in fines and perform 40 hours of community service, was banished from the city of Valdosta and is to have no contact with the victim. The charges of disorderly conduct, obstruction, providing false ID and underage possession of alcohol were dismissed. Georgia coach Mark Richt dismissed the former Oconee County prep star for a violation of team rules.

Is this really a guy we want on our team? This stuff seems a lot worse than anything Perrilloux ever did. Just sayin....

I didn't say it was nothing. But fondling women and being banished from an entire CITY... That's not "nothing" either.

Yeah none of our players drink underage, uses fake I.D. Or grope sluts at a bar... Go look who's daughter the "victim" was and you'll see why it was such serious punishment.

He plead guilty Bc he could have faced charges that could have made him a sex offender.

Are you kidding?

He was a drunk college freshman who got into a bar with a fake ID and drunkenly grabs some chicks tits or arse on the dance floor?

That is the story of MOST people's freshman year in college.

He didn't try and go to a casino, used counterfeit money, or threaten to shoot someone.

I saw where he said he committed after Ole Miss game, but didn't want to announce until after his season was over.

Let's say maybe he's learned from his mistakes and will keep his hands to themselves like a good boy, and learn all he can to become LSU's starting QB and make everybody glad and proud. I'm sure CLM will be watching...

Scroll down half a page and you'll see a link to the broadcast of Sunday's title game. Be forewarned, you won't be so excited about your new recruit if you watch the entire game.
