I feel bad for the FSU team but the fact is that they are not one of the top 4 teams without their QB.

Getting the top 4 teams into the CFP has never been a priority until this year. And even this year they failed at it as well. Georgia would be in right now if it was the 4 best teams.

The committee failed at selecting the 4 best and the 4 most deserving. It's really impressive how had the system is and funny how people thinking expanding it by 300% makes it better.

but the idea that they should let FSU in despite seeing 2 weeks in a row that they aren't very good is ridiculous.

FSU beat a rival by 2 scores with a backup.

Bama beat a rival by 3 points needing a muffed punt and 4th and 31 conversion to win.

Which team has shown for 2 weeks they aren’t very good?

That was their 3rd string freshman. They get a junior back for the bowl game. Plus their defense absolutely shut Louisville down. Why do we only care about their offense in a game with a QB that wouldn’t even be playing in the playoff?

The second string guy struggled vs a 5-7 florida team.\

And like I said, it was the fact the OSU proved on the field that their team was just as good with the second AND third string QB playing. FSU showed on the field that they were not nearly as good in the same scenario.

The Bama Auburn game is glaring....

That doesn't change the fact that they needed 3 turnovers and a miracle to beat a team that lost by 21 points to New Mexico State a week earlier.

So we’re just ignoring everything else and focusing on one game then, right?

Every season comes down to a few big plays and who makes them. Bama made the play. Had they not, they would be out and UGA, OSU, or FSU would be in. But they DID make the play so they are in.

Bama also made the play on the 4th down in 1H against UGA….oh wait no they didn’t but the corrupt officials in BHam wouldn’t ring down to review it.

Bama only had two TDs against Auburn until the final play. N. Mexico State laughed.

That has literally been the ONLY priority since the playoff inception. Not sure what you are talking about. Its been proven over and over again.

In 2016 the committee put OSU in OVER the conference champ Penn State that BEAT OSU in the head to head.

In 2017 the snub multiple conference champs and let both UGA and Bama in despite Bama not even making it to Atlanta. Bama won the whole thing that year.

in 2020 They OSU in despite only playing 6 games.

It ALWAYS been about getting the best 4 in and NEVER been the most deserving.

No, the rest of the season gets you in the conversation but when you are in a dead heat with other teams (and a QB-less FSU still has something to prove), the last few games is the decider.

They don't pick the teams that were best in September and October. Its who was the best all year and when you have 7 teams in that convo, its who has been better lately.

Bama's first string guy also beat UGA and dog walked LSU.

Where are FSU's backup QBs skins on the wall? Its not just what are your negatives, its what are the positives and how do they net.

FSU with a backup QB wasn't a very good team and they got left out because of it.

After knocking out Jayden.

FSUs defense was more effective VS LSU than Alabamas.

Had FSU beaten the shite out of either UF or UL, then that would have mattered but them stinking it up in both games AND BAMA beating UGA was the difference.

Beat Florida and Louisville.

Gumps struggled vs Auburn with their starter.

Then why is UGA at home this year? OSU?

Both of those teams would be favored over Washington.

I hate to defend Bama. This is actually hurting my soul.

Bama was up 14 when they hurt Jayden. LSU fans keep acting it was a tie game but we were already down 2 scores and our defense wasn't stopping anyone that night.
