If Obama had the success LSU has since 05, he would re-elected in a freaking landslide.

Nothing wrong with criticism of a passing offense that's been way to limited way too long, but the constant, never ending crying like a spoiled 2yr old not getting what they want that some do is more than a little silly and shows more than a little college football like mental retardation. imo

So if we get shut out by bama you will complain?

If we lose to Bama I'll complain. But my point is, we have what we have. All our ranting here will not change what the LSU athletic department and more importantly the LSU football program does.

Mistakes in yesterday's game? Sure, I saw them, friends with me saw them, game announcers saw them and opposing teams saw them. But we won and my illusions of LSU having a prolific offense "this season" are gone.

Not saying I don't want a better offense but we have what we have and apparently it isn't going to change "this year". What would you suggest we do to suddenly have a passing attack? Tell the receivers to catch the ball? I'm sure that has been done already. Tell the O Line to block better? Check, they've been told. Wait, you'd tell Mett to make better reads? Ding ding! It's been done so what more do we do? Hire a new OC mid season? Failure in the making.

So, I'm going to enjoy some LSU football this year and realize 95% of college football wishes they had our team's wins!

clearly this would be a better site if it was merely an echo chamber of sunshine pumpers.

Right?

Forward Soviet!

Dissenters not welcome! You're with us or against us!

Counterrevolutionaries must die!

See where this train of thought leads? Marching in lockstep without asking why is about as un-American as anything that ever was.

Now, kindly piss off, adjust your tampon, enjoy the win, and get ready for Bama in 2 weeks.

I personally enjoy the bitter tears of the miserable.

It's like havig two wins - you watch LSU win the game and then you win again watching the miserable rending their garments.

I get a kick out of reading the rantings of the, "I know we win, but I'm pissed off bout the...." or the, "why can't we...", fill in the blanks.

It's like they honestly have no clue bout how very, very good LSU football has been to them in the last decade or since 05.

I can maybe understand the 18-25 yr old LSU football fans cause they know no better. Successful LSU football is all they know. So, they think it's easy to be elite, but the older fans who lived with 80ies and 90ies should know better. imo

It's all good...who can really be upset when LSU football is on the lips of the american public, media, and LSU football fans everywhere.

I suspect that the negative nellies would never stick to their own board because they live to drag other fans into their $hit-hole.

There is a difference between legitimate constructive criticism and creating threads like "Miles needs to go" and "Give Chavis Miles' salary." Those threads add nothing, and they're always more than a few of them. Those are the guys the OP is talking about.

College football season is the best part of the year, at least for me. Why spend it looking for as many reasons to @#%@%^ and complain as possible?

I agree and have not problem with questioning the HC bout a passing game that has been way to limited for way too long.

Well, that's just silly and probably comes from a troll, but that's for the Rant moderators to deal with and dispose of quickly.imo

Threads like this one add nothing either. The damn board is called the rant for God's sake. What kind of twat sits behind his computer to whine about what another fan says about his team? I don't get that. If it bothers you, go to one of those nut rubbing boards like other schools have where you get banned the second you post something vaguely negative. You'll see how interesting they are. Or just wash your Tiger thong instead.

Come on this isn't a new problem. It has been ongoing for 4 years. It has to be coaching/scheme related.

The recruiting is top notch correct?

I refuse to believe that all of our offensive recruits were just overrated coming out of highschool. CLM makes 4 million a year to figure out, address, and fix the problems on offense. He seems, based on the lack of improvement. To be perfectly content playing games with no threat of a passing game. I love power football and wearing teams out but at some point you have to realize that improving in the passing game will only help the team in the long run. The penalties are coaching! Player development is coaching! The passing game is coaching!

The passing game has alreay cost us a loss this year and a better chance for a national title last year.

At some point the excuses for the offense need to quit being a crutch for some fans.
