A typical LSU defense is what we need to make it through the SEC schedule. I'm really hoping we get closer to that before Florida.

If all of them, especially the inexperienced ones, will "know their roles" and play their assignments it will start clicking.

That's what I'll be watching for.

Outside of a total breakdown against the mooers, our defense has been fine. Offense needs to improve greatly for us to have any chance of success this year.

Not going to happen this year. We are too thin on both OL and DL.

Agree. We need an influx of talent and bodies. Herron and a healthy Lawrence would be a good start. Young pups Farrell, Thomas, and Logan should get a lot of work.

Herron, Loc, and Gilmore all gone next year. Makes the misses on Wilson and Mathis much worse. Like the guys we have committed.

Wish in one hand and crap in the other. Then see what fills up first.

Oh you mean the only decent team we played so far if we have another game like last week this time against troy. This is gonna be a long season.

Logan & Farrell need to step up. If we can get solid play from just one of them we will be in a lot better shape when FH and RL back

Because I have more faith in our defensive personnel.

I think it will be tough until we get Lawrence, heron, and our other dt back.

Hoping Etling doesn't throw the ball at everyone's feet over and over and keeps the D off the field. He sucked bad last week. We'll,see.

He started slow with a lot of pressure, but had some beautiful long td passes... What was his rating again? We get it though, you aren't team etling.

me too. our D really is the key to the rest of the season. we need to improve, we need to get healthy on the DL and Arden Key needs to get in football shaped and be a distraction for their offense again.

Syracuse abused the defense at times, both tricking them and sustained drives.

The defense actually has an excuse. Not so much for the offense.

Agree but even with what looks to be a good game how can you tell when the opposition is so much below SEC talent?
