It's been mentioned before, but the OC from Western Kentucky would be a great hire. It's an upgrade for him no matter what and he's done some pretty impressive things with their offense and qb. If he does well he'd certainly improve his resume and if LSU doesn't improve and Les is let go, he's still a million dollars richer and a mid major would pick him up again in a heartbeat.

Anybody coming next year knows it could be Les' last year.

1. After all this I doubt Les really only has 1 more year unless EVERYTHING falls apart. We would have to have losing season at this point.

2. Like I said, a worst case scenario 1 year contract isn't the worst thing for a young coach. Especially when he could make 3x the money he is making now.

Yet this board still says its Cam Cameron's fault and wants him to be fired. Its an absolute lie that people won't blame the OC.

Cam is also the QB coach, and our QBs are anything but coached. There were open receivers last night, and it looked like Harris was actilvy avoiding thawing anywhere near them

No thanks a&m. I would want Stanford or Michigans OC . Mix a power run game with a sophisticated passing game

What.... did you see the post game last night? Nobody will blame Miles the Great and everyone knows it.

Give the OC a 3 yr deal with no miles clause.

...we will get plenty of interest.

...but that ain't the problem.

Is he the brain behind their offense? Don't know much about him but usually at these small schools it is the head coach.

I'm not gonna get creepy about this, like the dude who keeps posting shopped images of Scott Frost.

Pep Hamilton could bring the Stanford/Michigan/Harbaugh running attack with the more sophisticated passing approach LSU desperately needs.

He won't be an OC in the NFL next year. He's only got 1 year as an OC at the college level, and he would help his career immensely if he could show that he can develop QB's with less talent than Andrew Luck.

He'd be my #1 target to be LSU's offensive coordinator. Hell, I'd try to get him in the building before the bowl game; let Cam coach the bowl, but have Pep signed for '16 before the game is played.

Didn't Jimbo say that Les chnaged 2 of every 3 play calls? It doesn't matter who coes in as OC as long as Les is here. We are going to see the same offense.

Probably a little of both. We don't need an OC that is good friend with Miles', we need a good OC that will stand up to Miles.

Going 9-3 or 8-4 next season will allow Les to keep his job once again, so a new coordinator should feel confident about getting more than 1 season. Les will have to be 6-6 to get the axe and that is hard to do with our schedule and talent, no matter who is the coach.

This shite is foolish. These coaches are all confident in themselves. They'll look at the job as a stepping stone where they can put turning LSU's offense around on thier resume and possibly say that they coached a Heisman winner. Not to mention many of them would make 2-3 times what they would if they stayed where they are.

Mack was able to pull in guys like Bryan Harsin as OC despite his job being in jeopardy and ultimatums being made.

Get to coach Fournette, Guice, a collection of 4-5 star receivers, and Harris who has all of the measurables and just seems to need the coaching.

It would have to be someone who wants to prove themselves and thinks they can do something the previous 3 guys couldn't do.
