LSU with Harbaugh calling the shots would be dominate.

Reality is, we aren't getting a new Coach and any discussion of it unless Miles resigns is a waste of time.

+1 for GMFP.

But, Gary Patterson already makes almost the same amount as Les and he is already in position to be the long time forever type coach / hero at TCU.

If we dont make it to a bowl game this year I dont see how all of the LSU fans wouldnt want miles gone. By that point Alleva himself would probably want miles gone

what should be talked about? How great the team looks? any type of criticism is met with hostility, should we just shut the board down?

The man has won a National title and we've appeared in two National title games in his tenure. He has the highest win percentage in LSU history. LSU has more players in the NFL than any team in the NCAA under his watch. This team can go winless in the SEC and he should and will retain his job.

We can do better? Ask Michigan about how that played out with Lloyd Carr or Tennessee about Phil Fulmer.

Yeah, that's what they were saying before Archer was hired.

And then that's what they were saying before Hallman was hired.

And then that' what they were saying before Dinardo was hired.

And then that's what they were saying before Saban was hired.

And then that's what they were saying before Miles was hired.

In EVERY SINGLE case, the fans were all "WTF?" after each hire - yes, even Saban.

The point is, LSU fans NEVER EVER get the coach they want. Every single time they want a coach fired, they have dreams of sugar plums dancing in their heads over the next coaching hire, but then reality hits them.

Personally I'm not looking forward to wandering in the wilderness for 12 years before getting another good coach. But time and time again, LSU fans demand change and then cry when they put a sub-par product on the field.

The game has NOT passed Miles by. He has shown a willingness to change to do what it takes to win football games. Dinardo wouldn't fire Tepper, Miles got rid of Maleveto. Miles would never play freshmen, now Miles plays freshmen. Miles would never throw the ball, last year LSU set all kinds of school records for passing.

Fans these days are just like spoiled children who demand instant gratification. For the love of all that is holy, have some patience and show some perseverance and loyalty. In his ten years at LSU Miles has never had a single losing season, and has brought LSU to the championship game twice. Give the guy a break.

As frustrated as I am, I do agree with a lot of this.

Although I do think Les has won on talent and not coaching.

Harbaugh is all but done in San Fran.

However, his next move will be to go home to Ann Arbor, not come to BR.

Harbaugh will either be at Michigan or still in the NFL.

If you have really watched Patterson and TCU over the past few years it is obvious how good of a coach he is. Continuously makes chicken salad out of Chicken Shite and has build an impressive program without the best recruits.

Defensive minded guy whose offensive is wide open compared to Lester's. Also look at how was able to adjust with having different QBs, Boykin is no Andy Dalton and they are still winning.

Harbaugh has been unhappy with management/ownsership, and Mike Leach is coaching at Washington state...you can't actually think he would be that great there do you?
