Miles wins a few games and he wins Championships.

Big difference.

Could care less if he's a jerk or a-hole............

It was 'Bama's night. Give it a rest. Even their FG kickers were on. IF..... Fournette and Harris hook up on the pass over the middle it could have forced Ala. to pass more. Their game plan was to get 1st downs and run the clock. They executed perfectly. Have not seen a Les Miles team get dominated like that in the trenches in a while. They beat us at our own game - again!

Their were a few plays that could have affected momentum and changed the outcome but ultimately LSU lost because the other team blocked and tackled better.

A lot of self defeatist, Negatiger drivel on here. The fact is the margin of error in these type of games are so slim. The OP is right, we had opportunities that we blew. It happens, it's football...

I've rationalized a lot of things in my life as well. We got physically whipped.

If Harris hits the passes he's been making all year, we definitely do have a chance. He was missing easy passes on 3rd downs that would kill drives.

No. You can't change the fact our O line got their arse completely ripped. That is why we lost. Not play calling not this or that. We got bitch slapped in the trenches all night and unless the O line steps it up significantly this weekend it will happen again.

Of course we could have won.

I don't care what any Bama fans says though, the LSU game is their game of the season. They played no one with that type on intensity! Not one single game they played all year did they look that focused. Even the UGA game they gave up some runs. It's plan to see if that team thinks you are a threat to them they really step it up.

Yes, they were dominated. But the pressure could have been released with forcing Bama to respect the short and intermediary passing game. The OL was dominated because they were running into a brick wall that could not be loosened unless we showed balance and a dynamic nature to our offense. We lost patience in passing game, and not without reason. But its up to the coaches to have confidence in the players and the players to execute. Patience in the passing game and proper execution would have given our offense a fighter's chance and let the game be decided in final moments.

The only way we could have played against that DL with limited passing is if we had our 2011 team (superior DL, good OL and outstanding STs) or if we possessed a OL that matched up better with the opposing line.

LSU walked into Bama's trap; the one they tried to avoid. They had too much advantage DL vs our OL. Less three and outs and more balance and the DL would have fared and looked a lot better. No one can win or look good when the other team has the ball twice as long.

saban used to say that there are 7 plays in EVERY game that determines the outcome.....close or not.

Maybe, maybe not... there is really no way to know. This is the same question with the Patrick Peterson Interception/not interception call.

Could that have changed the momentum of the game.

Sure.. maybe.. or maybe not. ya never know.

At the end of the day. LSU lost and Arkansas is next..

Tiger fan after a loss to Alabama Timeline:

Monday- We got outcoached, outplayed, we'll never beat alabama
Tuesday- We just don't have the players Alabama does...we need to recruit better and get rid of Steele.
Wednesday- Maybe we should change our philosophy a little. We don't need new coaches or players we just need to add a little more balance to our offense.
Thursday - Above.

Exactly! If you look on here or the TV you think that LSU got beat 55-0 but we lost by two scores on the road to a top level team. The difference in this game was some completions and/or play selection.

I rewatched the offensive side of the game and when LF got to the LOS without being hit he normally made 2-4 yds. The problem here is that the running plays got busted in the backfield all night. However when LF did not touch the ball the plays looked much more normal in terms of results. Bama's DL controlled the LOS and their LB's and Safeties keyed on LF. They did this without stacking the box which is amazing.

With that said, some other running plays to people not wearing 7 and some key completions and this was a whole different ballgame.

Anybody notice that we cant throw a 5 yd pass for shite...

Do us all a favor and change that LSU to the big A and get in line to give Nick head.

I mean, why continue the charade?
