Richt isn't taking an OC job! Why would he do that when he can get a good HC job. This hire Richt stuff is beyond stupid.

If Les can't entrust Cam goddam Cameron with the offense who can he trust?
Then again Richt is basically Jesus so maybe...

Jesus, it's like you're not even paying attention. The man said he was willing to accept an OC position somewhere at his press conference, and mentioned how he missed calling plays and coaching QBs directly.

Far fetched, but not beyond stupid. These are statements Richt made during his presser about him leaving GA

quote:

I’ll say this -- if and when I do coach again, I’m looking forward to coaching again in terms of being more hands-on. I miss coaching quarterbacks, I miss calling plays, I miss that part of it. Whether it’s in the role of head coach, coordinator, quarterbacks coach, whatever it is. If in fact I choose to do that I’d be really excited about coaching QBs again and getting in the middle of coaching offensive strategy. Not that I wasn’t in it, but I wasn’t calling it. And I think I’d be more apt to do that again.

MR will not take OC job anywhere. He will take a HC job. To suggest he would is mind numbing. Drop your season tickets so someone else can get them.

Move along, no need to loiter, just keep it moving, plenty of other fans will gladly support the university and the football team.

cannot in good faith spend money on this sh*t-show.

Drove in from North Carolina for the game ... first game in Tiger Stadium for my now "twenty-something" year old kids. We enjoyed the hell out of that "sh*t-show" on Saturday night. The stadium was electric and the fans in attendance showed why Death Valley is so special. Glad the "other" LSU fans chose to stay away.

I heard that earlier today. I say bring him in. He would know how to negotiate his control over the offense.

Yeah, Im sure he will need to take a coordinator job since he will have no opportunities at landing a head coaching job anytime soon

Cool deal. What is your section and seat number(s)?

I am not renewing mine also primarily due to travel distance and convenience. 4 seats. Section 416. Row 33. Go get them.

Yep exactly what I heard him say he wants to call plays a coach qbs and be more hands on. Sounds like he wants to be a oc/qb coach to me.

Your scenario plays out one of two ways....Richt here for one year. Which will make it impossible to recruit, if he is HCIW which hurts recruiting in the short term and gives us the same or worse results than Miles long term......yoppeeeee
