No, I just think Les Miles knows that JJ is a good kid that has paid his dues, and is now part of the team again. JJ has gotten the worst treatment over a bar fight of anyone I've ever seen.

I think that Miles was probably doing what the team felt was right.

Especially one that he's yet to be proven a participant in (the fighting part, that is).

LSU has won 3 national titles without "lil rickey". LSU is ranked #1 in the nation without "lil rickey". I'm sure Les Miles isn't putting his team's season on the line just for "lil rickey".

I don't think not getting him is gonna be that detrimental to us. JJ hasn't exactly been a stellar QB

There's not that much talk about RJ around the River Parishes. Of course I saw JJ 3 years at Destrahan and was surprised (as was many) he was a D1 recruit.

Sad, I am not even convinced that he was involved. I am also not convinced that, if JJ was involved, the "victim" didn't deserve to catch a major arse-whoopin. Pushing around a girl is an equal trade for getting kicked in the face, IMO.

He's a better receiver than JJ is QB. By far. That being said, it won't be the end of the world not getting him. Would be nice though.

It's not related in the least bit.

Well Jordan is a QB, but Rickey is not a QB . . . and . . .

I was speaking of the athleticism, not necessarily the position they play. I don't think either of the Jeffersons are superb athletes that can't be replaced.

Possibly, to help keep alive LSU's chances to land Rickey, but who knows the true motives behind the Mad Hatter's madness? Maybe blind loyalty--hope it will work. One good thing is it means this is the last year for JJ, no redshirt, and if Mett can be patient, he should be the starter in both 2012 & 2013.
