With Collins being a possible leave early candidate, it would be much better if we had RR back. Valentine is actually in classes and his transcript should not be an issue as he will have one year of college completed. Only issue would be if he struggles in the classroom at LSU, but haven't heard anything to that nature.

I can't see Collins going pro. He won't get drafted that high but who knows.

Detillier seems to think that it's more likely than not that Collins will leave for the NFL. He also seems pretty sure that RR will not be at LSU next year.

Collins has been in the program 4 years already and I think will be a mid round pick and good pro. His stock will not increase in my opinion. Wish Robinson was coming back to start opposite white

I think hunter and the Olineman are the ones that could really improve their stock by returning similar to Lael.

I think Collins was better this year. I hope he stays because that would help if RR is done and if Thomas struggles after injury. We could be scary good again with white, Thomas, collins and adding tolliver.

Paris and Toliver will suffice just fine. We get Tre another year as well. Just keep filling the pipeline so that we can offset the playas who self-select out of the field of play.

if rr isn't let go right after the end of the semester then its a good chance he stays. it would certainty help recruiting to publicly say he is gone if that's in the cards. esp. since Collins will probably be gone and Thomas had knee surgery.

Think next years corners will be fine with White and Collins then Tolliver, Thomas, Paris, etc

Collins will be in the pros; Tolliver will be a freshman, will make lot's of mistakes and blow coverages right and left; and Thomas is coming off a serious injury.

It's a better situation than most college teams will have, but it's a little thin.

What exactly did Robinson do? Did anything ever come out?

I suspected that it was substance abuse related because of the one game suspension at the beginning of the season then another indefinite suspension. I do not know that at all - just inferred it from the pattern. Could be academic related because he got canned the second time around or just after midterms.

You forget how good our safeties are and that Ed Paris has played some football.

Tre White, Ed Paris, Jamal Adams, Ricky Jefferson, Dwayne Thomas, and Tolliver will be a very good group. That is the one position LSU truly reloads in every year now.

There are other guys in the mix for PT as well.

Its always been academic with RR. He has an aversion to attending classes.

wel he went from getting passed over by true freshmen 2 years ins a row, to actualy being a pretty decent CB this year.

He coudl definitely increase his stock.
