I've been waiting for this topic to pop up for the last two days.

Our D holds Bama to THREE 3 &outs to start off the game. Defense is locking it down and then Robinson gets called for a questionable pass interference which went to the home team. Im fine with that. BUT, did Miles SIT him for the rest of the game??!!??

Consequently, the next play was a 50 yard TD pass to the TE on Mills first play.

THEY WENT AFTER #28 ALL NIGHT AFTER THAT.

I could see it from my recliner. Inexplainable.

That allowed AJ to get on a roll and from there that was it.

We had him rattled to start. I just don't understand sitting top notch talent bc they make a mistake.

From there, they continued to throw at him and we made zero adjustments. Those are things a coach is paid to see and adjust.

Not calling for CLM head but I think this is a major concern we as a fan base have towards the the coach.

yeah this was pretty infuriating.

One mistake on a ticky tack call? Gone.

Torched for 2 TDs? No Biggie.

Can't tackle and is consistently blown the frick out of the hole all season? NO PROBLEM DJ!

Copeland shouldn't have been benched either for a fumble. That's ridiculous.

Yes I noticed this also. He also sat down his best blocking fullback for the game because of a fumble, as he did Hill against ole Miss. This concept has cost LSU big time. Get on the players, refocus them and get them back on the field to make up for their mistake. The greatest players make mistakes.

Miles should sit himself for some of the mistakes he makes....

No consistency at ALL

Welter makes mistakes all game every game

Same with loston

They continue to start. Robinson with a ticky tack call and he WR's benched??

mills was getting beat on just about every play one before the 50 yard td pass that woulda been a td pass if placed better. He is constatly trying to play other peoples position or tryin guard other players beside his own...he is guessing to much he would be great if he would just play his man and stop trying to make plays that arent there...and then he needs to learn to tackle and not just throw his body into people...i agree with the OP RR should of never came out the game he locked his guy down no he isnt perfect but he is better than mills

It's like they are trying to teach them a lesson during the game and winning comes secondary.

It's ridiculous.

I just don't get it.

I understand sitting them for a series but if there's a noticeable weakness the opponent is CLEARLY going after and you still make no adjustment...nothing more aggravating.

this has been a problem under Miles for a while. Random enforcement of rules depending on the player.

1970 LSU lost to N.D. 0 - 3
1971 Everyone stayed in to block and Bert Jones passed to Andy Hamilton all night LSU 28 N.D. 8
Do the same with Beckmen Jr

Chavis decides who plays on defense.

The only other" dumbass coach" I know that does this type of thing for mistakes is Bill Belichik.
