I think Saban has two, unless we are donating 2003 to USC.

According to what? Accomplishments? OK, I'll rank them according to what they've accomplished.

1. Urban Meyer
2. Nick Saban
3. Steve Spurrier
4. Les Miles
The rest.

I agree on the accomplishments issue. Also, too many don't consider all aspects of the head coach's duties which are largely administrative and include recruiting. Remember also that he made two huge hires this offseason.
I would rank LM as 7 in on-field coaching, 6th in adminstrative(staff management)4th in accomplishments and tied for 2nd in recruiting. Probably around 5th overall(currently behind Nutt do to the losing streak).

My List! 1. Nick Saban 2. Urban Meyer 3. Gene Chizik 4. Dan Mullen 5. Bobby Petrino 6. Mark Richt 7. Steve Spurrier 8. Houston Nutt 9. Les Miles 10. Lane Kiffin 11. Bobby Johnson 12. Joker Phillips

You are smoking some serious crack if you think this is accurate. You seemed to have ranked them based on the future as much as today. I mean it took Chizik how many overtimes to beat Northwestern? Dan Mullen didn't even take his team to a bowl game! I'm sorry but based on performance TO THIS POINT, Miles is 3rd behind Saban & Meyer. The rest are still proving themselves.

And Saban's, except for his last Iron Bowl.

With the talent they had versus the talent we had, I say their performance is way ahead of Miles this year. Performance is more than just W/L's. I would gladly take either of these guys right now over Les Miles.

12. Joker Phillips (too early to tell - although I'd put his predecessor @ 3 or 4. )

What in my previous post led you to believe that I hated Miles? - I am indifferent to him as I am to any other coach - they are merely tools/utilities to help LSU succeed.

BTW using ad-hominem attacks and name calling is more effective when you don't hide behind a fricking alter created in the middle of the night!
