So his OPS is almost even with Milazzo yet here you are making excuses for him. Seems hypocritical. Maybe just me. He struggled yesterday. The one time he got on base he was thrown out easily at second trying to steal on a ball in the dirt.

Lmao you can’t just turn someone into a catcher.
Austin Nola never caught a day in his life and was turned into a top 10 catcher in big leagues

The position has been turned into a mythical beast by baseball fans. Good infielders can play catcher fine

So far this year it's been IMO:
1. Crews
2. Jobert
3. Morgan
4. Doughty
5. Berry

I anticipate it to be something like this towards the end of the season:
1. Crews
2. Berry
3. Morgan
4. Doughty
5. Jobert

But anyway you put it our 1 through 5/6 is unreal. Dugas led the team in homers last year and isn't even top 5, which shows exactly how stacked this lineup is. He could find himself in there after some more games. 6-9 will likely fluctuate, but still solid guys in those spots. Milazzo's ability to bunt successfully will be a big help throughout the season.

Just to show how stacked this team is, the #2 guy on your list wasn't going to start. A freak accident on opening day thrust him into the lineup.

Joubert has been a nice surprise. He is making crack of the bat noise that will get him noticed

Strong kid. Reminds me of Travinski except from the opposite side and the ability to hit for average a little bit better. Hoping he continues through SEC play.

Not all cause I was an infielder and pitcher and tried to catch and it gave me a new respect for them. You learn real quick not to reach for the ball or the bat will remind you

Can we talk about what CJJ must have been expecting from Beloso based on the production from Jobert thus far?

I think he expected Jobert's start to the season out of Beloso. He didn't expect Jobert's start to the season out of Jobert. It be like that sometimes.

Very different approaches at plate. Will make it very difficult for opposing pitchers to throw to one spot or not have their 2nd and 3rd pitches working. Will be interesting to see the difference in combinations as the year progresses.
