At the time of the Kelly hire, fans were not that impressed. Wade, Mulkey and Johnson all seemed like better hires to some.

Months earlier I had them ranked
1. Mulkey
2. Wade
3. Johnson
4. Kelly

Now it’s changed and likely could change again in December.
1. Mulkey
2. Kelly
3. Johnson and Wade tie, can’t decide which coach to keep if I had to let go one. Both can recruit well.

Before Wade came here we hadn't won a tournament game in 10 years

Before he came here we had open tryouts and a tuba player was given a roster spot

I haven't done the math but we rank either 1, 2 or 3 with Kentucky and Auburn as the winningest SEC programs in the past 5 years in basketball.

He's won the SEC, he's a dominant recruiter, he wins but he's a victim of his own success.

The only year he hasn't been in the tournament is when he bitchslapped ULL at home in the NIT, called the timeout so they could enjoy our arena and used stats to prove that they weren't on our level.

Our fans aren't happy we have a tournament team that can make a run even with a ton of injuries all season.

They're mad that we're not going to be a 1 seed because we got projected to be one when we started red hot.

Saban was right. Catastrophe syndrome. So emotional.

Another dumbass post by you. It’s obvious the Rant’s view of these three coaches keep changing. Just wanted to illustrate that point. But you refuse to play along, what a bitch move.

Only one is in the HOF already, she can do something nobody else has done. Wade is a hell of a recruiter but so far is headed in a Dale Brown direction, JJ has big shoes to fill, Skip’s are too big, could pass up PM but still has to win one. BK is the best coach of football since Saban, but 2 idiots won in said sport, but still has to prove he can win Natty.
1. Mulkey

2. Kelly
Tie 3. Jury still out on WW & JJ, but WW won SEC in year 2, don’t think JJ will win SEC in first 2.
Pretty strong Staff

You might think these soft troll threads you float are fun or funny, but they are annoying and make you seem like an idiot.

We all root for all four coaches, but our views on them do change over a short period. Mine has, just like everyone else’s here. At least some of us can admit it.

Here’s how I rank them up:

Rings won while at LSU:

1.5: Shaver
1. Winstead
HM: Mulkey (won at other locations)
0: Everyone else

Dale retired as the second-winningest HC in SEC history. So I don't know if a "Dale Brown direction" is a negative.

That said, is he really headed in a Dale Brown direction? Dale didn't post his first winning season in SEC play until his 6th season at LSU. He didn't make the NCAA Tournament until his 7th season. Wade reached the NCAAT and won the SEC in year two. But for the cancellation of the 2020 tournament, Wade's team would have made the NCAAT in 3 of his first 4 years at the school, on the verge of making it 4 of 5.

Hell, if you are going to use Brown as the comp you could argue Wade is "on pace" to be the best basketball HC in LSU history
