This is the box score from Cam Cameron's second spring game at IU. It was Randle El's redshirt freshman season. The kid who threw for five TDs never played as a starter again for IU and Randle El was a monster from his first game his redshirt freshman year.

Not even trying to make a point at all other than to say it was a spring game and the returning starter who threw five TDs in the spring game never started another game again.

How many titles did IU win during his playing days?

Nice find. I don't think you can really conclude anything from it, but it's interesting.

Not really sure your reference to a title has anything to do with or any relevancy to what he's trying to say.

God thats a terrible comparison.

Randle El actually had MORE passing yards on less attempts than the kid with 5 TDs and he also had 4 TDs himself.

I'd take another Antwaan Randle El in a heartbeat. The kid was a tremendous college football player.

Yea, I definitely understand him trying to compare the situation at IU with Cam to our situation.

My reference is that I don't think LSU needs a Randle El type qb, unless there would be no other talent on the offense.

We have talented rb's and really are in trouble if we need his type talent to get rushing yardage.

I am all for it if it somehow fits into our philosophy on offense and produces championships, I just don't see that type of qb taking LSU where they need to be.

Accurate, smart, no turnovers win games more than a qb leading in rushing type stuff.
