And the old man Gus was a member of the Chinese Bandits.

But the best athlete in the family was Kal. He just liked to smoke weed.

True. Booting balls in the CWS was Bregs' specialty. Austin could never live up to that.

Seriously? Austin wasn't the best SS. Hell Bregs made plays Austin couldn't sniff. Sorry but that's just wrong. Rabs was pretty damn good from the 80s as well then there was Larson and hell Russ Johnson wasnt

What?

Bregs didn't have the range Nola had. Bregs bat and pro potential are another level, but Nola is the best defensive SS that has played at LSU period.

I'll take Austins defense over Bregmans. Bregman obviously put up better offensive numbers, but I think Austin is under appreciated at the plate for his college career.
He was also a four year player, which was awesome.

I do not remember seeing McDonald pitch for LSU, but from what I've seen of Aaron, I think he's the greatest pitcher we've ever had, and top 2 or 3 baseball player period.

Austin was better year to year, but Bregman as a JR was better than Nola ever was in a singular year.

LMAO you kids are a joke. Bregs might have booted a couple more, but he got to far more balls than Nola ever sniffed. The plays behind second and in left field were highlight reels.
If you were an Astros fan you would know we have the best SS in the league since AROD that is 21!!! And then there is Altuve who is an all star 2nd baseman so Bregs will be relegated to trying different positions as most if not all Stros players do in the minors.
I wish I could post links to those plays on the second base side of the infield that he made many times because he was in position to. Dude has unbelievable instincts.

Protect your Catholic school boy who had about 3/4 of the range of Bfres. Dude made Top 10 so many times.plus he can hit. Nola was weak at the plate.
Bregs is about to get called up after being in the minors for <1 year.

Are you drunk? You post like you're drunk. He had twice as many errors as Nola comparing their last year at LSU. Oh. And one has a championship. The other... 1 win in omaha.

ETA: 4 years for Nola - 34 errors; 3 years for Bregman - 36 errors. Hmmm...

Not in the least. It's just for some reason players from certain high schools are "protected more than others". U less you're in Pawls doghouse.

BTW - the Nola's are my cousins. I have every reason to defend him.

I didn't go to Catholic. Bregman was PM's favorite player ever. I played with Austin when he was playing with 17-18 yos as a 14 yo. I realize I am biased.

I realize that he is not, never was, or ever will be on par with Bregman at the plate, but after his freshman year, Nola was a very reliable hitter in our lineup, that could fit in to almost any spot in the order.

To say weak is hilarious. Why do some people shite in this dude?

Yeah. Having a career 0.300 average at LSU is "weak"
