I will take a 4 or 5 seed but I would love an 8 seed just to get Oregon St. First in Omaha. The beavers are closing their season with a 4 game series with mighty Abilene Christian and almost lost one game.

All good points... just get there. I am not as concerned about the seed as I am who is sent to Baton Rouge and who they are paired with

Of course, being an 8 seed has its benefits as Lange would go in your first game if you get to Omaha. I would want KSU to be opposite Florida's group as both are familiar with each other and Florida would probably be knocked out on that round at the CWS. I would also like them to be opposite North Carolina as the have had LSU's number in Omaha in the past

I'm happy with any number 1-8, let's host a super and see what happens after that.

National seeding in NCAAB is only qualitatively valuable. There's no consideration given to the number by your name when setting up the bracket, so the 1 could end up paired with the best non national seed host team. We just need to cross our fingers and hope we get a decent pairing

Whichever seed plays Day 1! Sucks waiting till Day 2 to start. Plus one more day of rest for aces.

4 or 5 is fine with me...especially since it will keep us away from TCU until at least CWS finals

Look at the seedlings of LSU teams that have won it all. #4 base been VERY good to us over the years.
