His scholarship situation may prevent it, but I'm thinking if it is known he will need to redshirt/rehab they wouldn't want to use one of the 35 roster spots on him.

I know what you are saying, but I was just saying I doubt they go that route.

Wait, I didn't know Reynolds' surgery this year would leave him with the possibility of not dressing next year as well.

I haven't heard any particular details about how severe his injury was, but labrums are usually more trouble than elbow issues. Eades had the surgery at the end of his junior year and didn't pitch again until he was at LSU.

Fudge.

My roommate had the surgery around January and he can soft toss and swing a golf club as hard as the devil.

I know neither of these are comparable with throwing a baseball 90 MPH 100 times in one outing...

Thats good to hear. Maybe Reynolds case doesn't turn out to be as bad as some others.

i think Poche could make a run as a weekend starter if he makes it to campus

im not really enamored with any of our arms after Nola. I think Glenn still has things to prove too.

I can't see a situation where PM doesn't have Stephenson in the lead for a starting job next year

Adam...Whats your take on Cody Glenn's draft status?

I believe he is a draft eligible sophomore because of his birthday. Also, he was was picked in the 15th round out of high school, so pro teams have shown interest in him in the past.

I don't think this is the case.

Article in Advocate today - Glenn is eligible.
Likely he comes back though.
For where he's projected it would probably be in his best interest to come back one more year.
He was 15th round out of high school.

Hmm. Didn't know that. Normally you hear about that long before the draft.

I think Laird will be eligible for the draft after next season.

I'll go look for that article. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah the MLB site usually quotes the general rule of being 21 at the time of the draft to be eligible. But it's technically 21 within 45 days of the draft.

You are correct about Laird.

Glenn should be back at LSU in the fall. He's come along great these past couple of weeks but he still has alot of maturing to do and another solid year in the SEC will jump his stock tremendously.

Williams, Eades and Jones so far.

Pretty much what everyone was expecting.

So far, so good.
