I have another question.....what do you think the supporting cast (recievers) thoughts of Jarrett Lee are...while I know the main one is gone but they definitely quit on Lee last year do you think they will readilly accept Lee back with enthusiasm?....all reports from the spring and summer was that the team loved jefferson as qb

that sucks

but while we're making wild assumptions, what would go through your head if he went 25-30 315 yards 3 TD 0 INT and we beat the shite out of auburn?

This shite is too funny....I like it b/c i feel the same...I think les is afraid to see lee do well b/c then he doesnt have a learning quarterback (JJ), he has a quarterback controversey...(Not Competition, Controversey)

I think that what happened last year can not be ignored/glossed over when it comes to making choices/decisions bout this year.

that was the spring and the summer, why dont you ask them now...JJ is costing JoJo major bucks right now...Lee actually helped make him some money last year..

Right....16 ints and 7 quick pic TDS to 3 ints and no quick pic TD's.

Not much of a "controversey" in my mind, but each to our own.

If he came in and threw a pick 6 in his first or second series what would be going through your head at that moment?

If I had a few million more in the bank I would be living in Bali and wouldn't have the time or the inclination to speculate about what if's.
to answer your question...it wouldn't matter a hoot how I felt.

This will be an interesting game.

I hope whoever plays, they play well. Having played the position, I can tell you that there is a point in time where the lightbulb goes off and you aren't thinking anymore--you are just seeing things and making the logical choice.

Neither Jefferson nor Lee have gotten to this point. God, to have these weapons and a QB who "gets it." So, that's what I will be rooting for.

Man! I am friggin sick of hearing bone headed statements about how JL is the same guy he was last year. I hope that all of you idiots are judged as harshly in your personal lives as your judging him. The guy has seen and felt the fire and stood his ground, held his head up and continued to push himself toward improvement. This alone is reason enough to give him at least a shot. When JJ mouthed off before the Florida game and then proceeded to look like a scared little girl on the field with his single worst outing, he then compounded his shame by hiding behind the coaches. Still I'm not calling for him to be benched but he is obviously slipping into a bad spot and some time viewing the game from the sideline might help him grow beyond that.
Beyond all that, you haters need to give up your crying about last year. It's gone! Get over it. JL was put in a bad spot (the same spot we are putting JJ in if we don't give him some relief) and he weathered it and didn't quit and didn't hide. At least give the young man at little respect. He deserves at least that and he deserves a chance!

I find it telling that you resort to name calling one QB, "like a scared little girl", and ask for "a little respect" for another.

Perhaps you should confront the "little girl" face to face with your opinion of his play in the Fla game rather than puff up your chest on a sports forum.

I support any LSU QB taking any snap and that would include JL, but I can't call for a change in how things have been done in this season cause a QB/team loss their 1st game of the year to a team who has won 17 games playing in the SEC. If that makes me "bone headed", so be it.

And speaking of getting over it, heed your own advice. JL had his shot to win the job and he didn't do it for whatever reason. Let's see what JJ does with his...I believe he "deserves at least" that.
