Question about MLB Draft

All the picks have been college/high school players from the US, however there are a ton of MLB players from other countries. How exactly do they get into the league if they’re not in the draft?

Only players from the US, Canada, or US territories (like Puerto Rico) are eligible for the draft.

Ball clubs just sign them. The Reds signed Elly Del A Cruz at 16 from the Dominican Republic. I believe for $65,000.

Yeah what Lester said. It can become a bidding war. I remember the Reds won the Aroldis Chapman sweepstakes.
