Is killing this team with TO's and poor decision making. His shot selection has been a bit better this game but he's a borderline liability with the ball in his hands..

All that said, his put back effort was the game winner.

I wouldn't say he wins games. He's largely checked out and plays in spurts. Thankful one of his spurts was at the end today.

Needs to play better, and when he does LSU is a much better team. Could protect the ball much better IMO

I think his confidence is down. Thinking the benching is taking a toll on his game!

Honestly, I think it's his attitude that's the problem.

When he's involved and playing well, he's giving 100% effort on both ends of the floor, slashes through the lane and creates for his teammates as well as himself. When that TQ is on the floor, we could play with anyone and beat anyone.

When he's not involved that much or struggling, he starts pouting, gives little effort, makes poor decisions, etc. That's the TQ we've seen for most of this year and it's hurt us.

And it sucks because he's an upperclassman and had a big Soph season. Was hoping he would be a leader for this team, along with Hornsby. But that doesn't seem to be the case. And JJ knows this and reduces his minutes / benches him when he starts pouting.

Say what you will about Josh Gray, but at least he gives 100% on both ends of the floor every second he's in the game. And has been pretty solid for us this year.

Quarterman is fine. He makes a lot of big plays like he did today

He was ok today. But if you've watched most of the games this season, I don't get how someone can say TQ is fine.

LSU's offense is completely predicated on guys making plays one-on-on. There is very little structure in the offense that creates open looks. Quarterman is one of the few guys that can creat scoring opportunities for both himself and others. Unfortunately, when you rely solely on guys having to create their own space and shots, bad/dumb plays are going to happen

LSU doesn't win today without TQ. They don't beat UK or Ole Miss without him.

You mean Josh Grey right? Quaterman handles the ball better than Josh Grey.

If not Quarterman, who?
I like Patterson but his shot was not falling today.
Gray has been brilliant in two games, but the last two he showed it was just an illusion. He threw the ball back across half court. Next trip he gets it stolen rather than pass. He drives into the lane with no place to go.
Without Quarterman, IMO, Coleman Coliseum would have another loss by the Tigers and we all would be sick.
