Jennings actually played very well. He showed he has a pretty damn good arm. The ball he dropped on Dural when he was rolling to his right was an absolute dime.
The only throw he struggled with consistently was the screen pass. He threw the ball a little too hard. That will get fixed.
As far as the completion percentage, there were a couple of drops and the play that Fournette got tackled on the screen. I mean if DeSean Smith doesn't drop that pass and that guy isn't able to tackle Fournette behind the LOS, Jennings would have completed over 50% of his passes and would have thrown for 300 yards or more. Considering this was his 2nd career start, it really wasn't bad. In fact, it was fairly impressive and encouraging.
People that are bitching about the play calling are retarded.

Consider this for a moment. If Jennings had thrown one more pass for -43 yards, he would have had the same completion percentage as the 2011 Demi-God of SEC Efficiency with double the yards (and double the YPA) and double the TD passes in his season opener. And he did it as a True Sophomore in his third game rather than a Fifth Year Senior in his 29th game.
Just something to consider.

The game for Jennings could have been better or worse. I still give him and the Tigers a lot of credit for not giving up. 0 INT is always a plus. First game of the season, and they managed to hit the "low" and hit the "high" as well. Young team but with a lot of talent. After watching them, I believe that this team will surprise a lot of people. Now, can someone tell me why people are predicting that we will lose against Florida???

I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't have a single turnover. add in 2 TD's and that is a successful day despite the low completion %

Are you really this fricking stupid? What the frick does Hill have to do anything you fricking dolt? Arguably no one in the country played better than him. No one is saying Jennings is going to win the Heisman or even be all-SEC 3rd team. But your assertion that Jennings played horrible is way off base.

Can you really not see the distinction? Nary a soul is saying Jennings played better than Hill. Prescott played against fricking Southern Miss so spare me that shite. Wallace struggled (three interceptions [Jennings had none]), but came on strong late to get the win.

I don't think you even know what you're arguing anymore. You have posted zero facts. All I can tell is that you're really pissed that Jennings played well and that we won. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess.
