we really do not know who Harris is yet. He needs playing time.

I hope Cam bends CLM's ear -
Most coaches would give Harris the start next week.

Uh no.

Our D got dominated and gave up nearly 600 yards, and thats with Miss St shutting it down most of the 4th quarter. And our offense stunk all night. Both lines were dominated.

Harris made some good throws but he was playing against their prevent defense. So let's not be ridiclous and say we would've won with Harris starting. It was plain to see that they were clearly better than us last night.

we will never know because we did not give him ample opportunity to play

By the same token, Harris may have made the correct read on the goal line, pitches to LF, who walks into the endzone. Or maybe he throws a couple of picks early and we're further behind. Regardless, he gets more experience.

I think Les is scared of throwing him out there too soon and having another Jarrett Lee situation where Harris gets his confidence destroyed and it affects the rest of his career. But he doesn't have a choice now if Jennings is hurt.

If the OL does not block for the RB & protect the QB it does not matter. Three damn feet and four tries and we cannot score when it's 7-0. Drew Breeze can be the QB and with our OL performance we still lose

in my opinion Harris should start next week and this should not be any controversy in making that decision. He proved he deserved a shot after the way he played last night. give the man his shot and see how he does.

This is the big disappointment. We knew we would have growing painst at QB and DL. OL was supposed to be a strength.

The "vast majority" must not be aware that Harris doesn't play defense. Only if he could play 2 interior line positions and 3 linebacker positions, all at the same time, would he have been able to make an impact. MSU ran and threw at will.
