It's Harris's job to lose.

I sincerely hope this is true, but wouldn't be surprised if it was a JJ JL situation again

He's 100% starting games 1 and 2. Whether he will start in game 3 and beyond is entirely in his hands.

But I'm optimistic.

Im just so thankful the Jennings supporters have dwindled so heavily. Excruciating listening to them defend him after last season.

Harris 100%. He starts game one and they drill Mcneese. He then starts in Starkville. He does well there, the season is his. Only way I see this changing is if he plays so-so against Mcneese and pretty bad against State.

Agreed.

I heard from sources close to the team that Jennings is considered the better player and Les will do anything from having to rely on Harris long term. That's not to say we can't get by with Harris in the starting spot early on and then move Jennings back to where he belongs

I think it'll end up being Harris' to lose. But the fact that Les pulled Lee as soon as shite didn't go perfectly makes me wonder how short the leash will be for Harris. Idk.

Hahahaha MarreroMike no one believes you... Please explain to us why NFL scouts think Harris has the higher ceiling yet Jennings is better? Or how about explaining his terrible stats...

I'll wait

Jefferson got himself arrested in 2011 and only saw garbage time for 8 games until Lee threw 2 INTs in 7 attempts.

Harris only saw garbage time for 4 games until Jennings had 2 INTs and a fumble.

Jennings was benched after his performance until Harris went 3/14 against Auburn.

Any other year, Russell, Flynn, Mettenberger, Lee in '08, Jefferson in '09.... Les has shown he prefers to give one guy the majority of the snaps.

History indicates that Jennings will not be reinserted as the LSU starting QB save for a complete meltdown on Harris's behalf.

He's trolling, don't even humor him. If anything, the "insider" buzz is that both Miles and Cameron feel Harris could be one of the best young QBs in the league.
