Doesn't matter to me, just glad it won't be Tre White. Let the downvotes fall! You know I'm right.

It seems like a wide open competition.

I'm not too trusting of Donte Jackson after some of the kick return mishaps this past season, but you would figure that he is the most dynamic playmaker you could put out there.

Derrick Dillon might factor into the competition. You can also see what Savion Smith offers with his diverse skill set.

Robertson is a need in this class. We need different skill sets. I would think he could be a good returner

White has scared me to death for 3 years

I'll double down on double D's...

Don't think it will happen, but Drake Davis or give Derrick Dillon a role?

DD's...

Just for grins, let's hope its Devin White and see who wants to try to tackle him with a full head of steam...

You want a guy with more wiggle/elusiveness, not just straight line speed for punt returner. Definitely could use straight line speed at kick returner, which is why you see a guy like Donte Jackson doing that, and not returning punts anymore.

Whoever has the most "wiggle" on the team next year is my guy for punt returns, who that is, I have no idea. It might be Guice, but I dont see him returning punts as well as kicks.

I think we've been pretty damned spoiled by punt returners over the years.

White started 3 seasons as the punt returner and had 3 TDs (1 each season), not too shabby at all. But when you compare him to some guys before, he's still no Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu or Trindon Holliday.

White averaged 10 yards a return
Beckham Jr. averaged 9 yards a return
Mathieu averaged 15.6 yards a return
Peterson averaged 16.1 yards a return
Holliday averaged 15.0 yards a return

Doesn't change the fact that he wasn't very good overall at fielding punts
