LSU will win 7 more games if Etling starts.

I wonder sometimes what people think they see with their own eyes.

LSU has no QB

WOW! With Harris struggling, it was time to see what Etling can do. But come on people, there is no need to shite on Harris. Etling did OK, not some great earth shattering performance like some are making it out to be. Harris' history says that if he remained in the game his stats would have been better.

I believe Etling earned the right to more time going forward. But I guarantee if Harris had the exact same numbers the story would be the opposite. There would be complaints about his horrible completion percentage, over throws, accuracy, interception and the fact he didn't complete a pass in the second half.

I warned about a redo of Russell/Flynn and Jefferson/Lee border wars. Where everyone picks a side and dumps on the player on the other side. Let's not go there again.

I'd like to see what Etling can do. If he, in fact, is a better QB, I'm all for it. But I don't think you just flush Harris either. There might come a time where we need him. His benching might be the best thing to happen to him. Hopefully it works better as a come to Jesus moment than Les Miles' faux firing.

Agreed, I was saying the same thing.

It seemed that Lee played better when coming in to relieve JJ. It seemed JJ played better when coming in to relieve Lee. Harris stepped in against State when Jennings was playing poorly and he lit it up. He started the following week against Aub and was awful. Now Etling replaces Harris and does respectable.

However, for the first time this year, the Tigers were fun to watch again. Etling's ability to check down to the next receiver got more people involved in the offense. At this stage in the game, he is our best chance. I'm still very hopeful for Harris though.

GEAUX TIGERS. Let's enjoy this one. Next week, maybe someone else steps up.

OL weaker than we had hoped. MD a weight around the QBs neck. Defense not dominate.

All things more troublesome than Etling.
