Look let's not hype up etling. It was jacksonville state. Let's say this again. Jacksonville state. He did look better than Harris and I believe he should start. But let's not act like he's JaMarcus Russell. But no seriously guys let's see what the kid can do against real defenses before we crown him the GOAT. I'm hoping he is a stud. But I think we keep setting ourselves up to be let down.

I haven't seen many people thinking we're going undefeated from here on..

The QB threw for 100 yards. I still see this team losing 4 games based on what I've seen.

The OL is still a weak spot. It's gonna be a fight next week.

Your first mistake.

We don't need Tom Brady. We can win games if we have a qb that makes other teams respect the pass. Etling gave us that tonight.

Nobody is saying Etling is for sure taking us to a NC. The 2nd quarter just gave a lot of fans a glimmer of hope that we can maybe salvage a decent season out of this.

On the interception he threw he impressed me with how he sidestepped then went back to pocket. Very comfortable

Jacksonville state played in their championship game last season. They aren't the pushovers you evidently think they are.

Etling had confidence, good touch on his passes and was accurate. Yes, there are things that need to be improved but it's a step in the right direction.

It wasn't like we were playing some nobody. JSU finished last season with a record of 13-2.

I'm encouraged but I'm not going overboard.

Give Miles props for making the change.

Do you see what that machine of Alabama has going on? You think we can win with 100 yards passing?

Hang on I know exactly who jacksonville state is. Like I said it's still jacksonville state. Quit talking about them like they could even win a bowl game. People like you are why next week if he throws 3 picks he's getting death threats.

Absolutely agreed. Just saying let's not set our bar too high with this guy.

Unless you think that some horrible mistake has been made and Harris is really the best QB on the roster, then you really don't have to "pump the brakes" on jack shite.

Nobody said this means we're winning the rest of the games by 60+ but getting the right personnel on the field is kind of helpful.

But if you want to Debbie Downer your life away, it's a free country.

People like me? Expound please.

For the third time, I'm not saying he is the answer to all our prayers. But you can't tell me he didn't play with confidence.

We'll see what happens in SEC play. No?

Do you think, oops, do you assume that 100 yards pssing is his ceiling? I don't. Again, he is no John Elway. But there is no way in hell we have three running backs average 8 yards a carry if Harris stays in the game. It is an improvement.

Speaking of which, we have 56 days before we play Alabama. Plenty of time for improvement. Hell, we may even get 101 yrds passing in a game.

At the end of the day he as 6/14 that's like 42% completion percentage. People like you are the reason CLM keeps getting passes. Wow
