He put the pressure on Stanky. He went out of his way to say November 19, would be a safety concern for the lsu athletes playing 3 games in 12 days.

Stanky stumbled and said they are looking at other dates. He was not prepared for that angle.

This is the angle lsu should take with November 19. Safety concerns for the athletes.

Well if safety was a concern for them this past weekend, why is it wrong for our team to be concerned about 3 SEC games in 12 days? I agree with Gary.

Glad he made that point on national TV, and Sankey was shown to be the fool he is.

I'm fairly certain Sankey wanted Nov 19th to be the #1 option to play this game, but now that Gary has thrown player safety into the public discussion, it hurts the chance of that happening. Not saying it won't happen, but it makes Sankey and the league look bad yet again if it is played that day. Well played Gary... Well played.

Technically they are playing 3 games in 12 days regardless. Should have specified 3 SEC road games in 12 days.

Time for a restructuring. One team/man should not be able to derail the futures of our student athletes. If the SEC doesnt want to do what's right, I dont want to be a part of it.

Sankey didn't come out looking very good IMO. The only forceful and leadership thing he said was that he was disgusted that nothing has been agreed too.

But then he gets point blanked asked by Gary, and Sankey can say is that we need to come together.

To me it is worse to force LSU to play 3 road games in 3 days, than it is to ask UF to play the game as scheduled but move it to BR.

Safety for players was the consideration for canceling the game on Saturday and it should be a concern for playing 3 games in 12 days for the LSU players.

It should've been played Sunday or Monday and the SEC looks like they did much to get an agreement.

Exactly. Florida used that bullshite to avoid playing... this would actually be a legit answer.

LSU should just tell that puss commissioner to frick off... he won't do anything about it.

Some might see it is a setup, but I don't think it is. It's definitely a line to set the question up, as in context...

But I like how he affirmed he a commissioner that puts player safety first, has a reputation, etc.

And THEN hit him with that question.

By the way Sankey had an easy out. All he had to do was say moving a Thurs game (which would be TAMU) was on the table to "mitigate" that. That way he would acknowledge they were considering the safety aspect and at the same time committed to nothing. So Danielson put him on the hook, but didn't set it. Sankey set it.

Safety got us into this mess, safety will get us out of this mess.

Whenever you want to shut down discussion because you don't like the direction of the discussion, simply delcare "safety".

Well, I meant in the interview not the situation as a whole. But I hear what you're saying.
