Pronunciation question about Clemson

I've met a few of their fans who say "clemP son". Is this correct?

A USCe poster was kind enough to let us know earlier that the proper way to say it its Clemp's Son.

Be very careful with this one. Tends to sexually attract the male species of Tatertown.

It's Clemson. Just like it says. Say Samson. The combination of the M and S sound creates a p sounding sound. Well that same about Clemson.
