People who said Martin would be one-and-done were almost exclusively talking out of their arse based on how highly he was rated. He was and is very raw (with unbelievable upside).

They weren't talking out their arse, this is the case for many draftees. Have you seen players who've been drafted lately?

Not THIS raw.

JOBIII is probably the least attractive of the 3 to NBA scouts and he is the one yall are expecting to go pro.

Because he flirted with the NBA last year. The writing is kind of on the wall that he's gone. When he's able to stay focused and play with energy (yes, I know he's been very inconsistent), he's by far our best player and his game translates well to the NBA. He has unbelievable strength and footwork to go with it. And a decent and developing mid-range game. He looks quite polished at times, and lost at other times. I can definitely see him getting snatched up in the 2nd.

No they didn't. This really couldn't be further from the truth. Martin was believed to be a 2 year player (because of inexperience) and Mickey was believed to be a 3-4 year player out of HS.

Martin was suppose to be 1 and done/2yr, mostly because his family situation could really, really use the money.

Mickey wasn't suppose to be a 1 and done guy. It has come up because he has played so wall, but still this draft is deep with freshman and some good upperclassmen. At this point, I thought a great showing in the NCAA tournament could have boosted him into 1st round grade, but I don't think that happens anymore.

I think we lose JOB and that's it.

Well at least 2 underclassmen on this year's team won't be here next season. Now if that is via early entry into the NBA draft, who knows? LSU signed 4 incoming players with only 2 seniors on this team. I don't think they oversign without a pretty good idea that at least one of Mickey, Martin and JOB were looking towards entering the draft.

That said, I think JOB is gone. He won't get drafted in the 1st round, but I don't think he would get drafted in the 1st round next year. If he can show a little more consistent effort, as well as the ability to hit the 10-12 jumper like he's been doing, he can carve out a nice "Brandon Bass" type of career. And there is certainly nothing wrong with that.
