One of our seasoned posters did a small preview... nothing earth shattering, but I figured you'd guys would want to take a look.
Best of luck today. I'm off to downtown here in a bit to start drinking for the games today. Cheers!

Is the game going to be on cable in BR?

thanks for the link
This will be a game to see where LSU really stands. I don't expect a win over the very good Aggies, but a win will turn some heads

I sure hope the weak schedule has their confidence up. LSU really needs to win this game. The way I see it, LSU has had the weakest schedule in the whole country up to now. If LSU wants a shot at making the tournament, they need to get a few wins against quality teams. Looking at LSU's schedule and with the sec being terrible this year, LSU has to win these games against quality teams and need very few losses to make the tournament.

i think .500 in the sec gets us in as a 6 or 7

Tip off is at 4 central!
No TV except in College Station (on KAMU live stream).
I think if you go to aggieathletics, you can stream it there... not sure there.

Normally I would say even a big loss in this game will not make or break our season guttata.
But given our very weak schedule to this point, this game game has set up as a defining test.
Our first opponent of comparable talent, perhaps a bit more when bench players are figured in, I think our kids and our fans see this as an a barometer with which to measure how good this team will be.
I think you will see the intentsity to match. Will that tranlate to a nervous and jittery performance or will that intentsity be channeled into excecution and heightened performance.
It will be interesting to see. And I look forward to it.

I'm not so sure .500 in the SEC gets us in with our OOC schedule, which BTW is ranked dead last in college hoops at this point and the relative weakness of the SEC overall this year in hoops.
I think we'll need to better .500 in the SEC. The good news is that IMHO I think we can as I look at the rest of the SEC. Ole Miss lost Warren for the year to further weaken the strength of our SEC brethren, and a team we should now beat twice.
