The remainder of their schedule isn't tough. The only thing that would keep them from going undefeated is complacency on thier part. They don't bring the cache of Duke, UK, Kansas, but they're a damn good team, with a great coach and Final Four experience.

I'm a hoophead from Kansas but I did some graduate work at LSU so I'm a casual and part-time Tiger fan. I am excited about seeing this team again - was bummed by their execution @ Alabama and happy for their breakthrough vs. Kentucky.
Clearly a must-win game tonight and I agree the LSU bigs need to avoid foul trouble and the rest should be academic. I wonder if your coach is familiar with the refs or if he knows how to "work them" both pre-game and in-game to set the table for the action in the paint.

It was posted on the RB. Newman is just a freak, and plays a position of need. Really getting excited about the '15 class.

Half the time I want our own board, but then half the time I realize that there would be much less viewership. Football fans may see a thread on here and decide to click it... No need to worry Cecil the zone is here to stay. I felt after Kentucky it would be a big part of our strategy going forward. Some folks didn't see it that way. I think its the best option for this team going forward. 5pm local Dawg time start I would imagine the building would be empty??

Has Jones said anything publicly about the 2-3 zone and how he plans to use it going forward? I think the team is much better defensively in that zone and our bigs have stayed out of foul trouble too whilst zoning, but I haven't heard anything official from the coaching staff despite playing lots of zone the last two games.

I wasn't expecting it to stay just because we have left a ton of 3 point shooters open, but at this point we really stopped two of the best offenses in SEC with it so I am happy with its production.
I agree that LSU will continue to use it pretty often. How crazy would it be if the UK game changed the way LSU plays defense moving forward? Be like the Syracuse of the South and play zone D with long players.
