Was there ever a chance for this kid to play at LSU? His numbers were not that bad at Live Oak High, 5-4 with an 2.47 ERA his senior year.

Since he went to junior college first my guess is no, but maybe he could have been a Scivique type sign
Once again, LSU can't sign everyone from LA with a 35 man roster. When you factor in the out of state talent they recruit as well, there probably ran out of room with 50 kids ahead of him

Kid may have had to walk on with the best or wait for a scholly from the rest because his numbers don't offer any advantage to what LSU signed as I see it. Good luck to him and to all the Toads.
