calling him an intern wasn't a slip of the tongue. He's going to A&M and has probably been planning on it. Miles has been bashing him & Chavis the whole presser.

Based on what's come to light about Chavis' departure, I don't blame Miles for being pissed at him.

Yea Chavis is a gutless bastard for talking to Sumlin before the game and not even telling the players bye. He lost all respect that I had for him once I heard that.

Best presser in a while...the energy and uplift is palpable. Great day for the Tigers. Les deserves to be a giddy. He pulled a rabbit out of a hat on this one.

Unless Chavis negotiated this with his hire, I don't see why A&M would take him.
Obviously there is much more to DL coaching than just producing sacks but A&M had nearly twice as many as we did this year.
He was moved because he's not that good. I'm sure he'll be able to find a job if he leaves but I don't see why he'd be in demand.

multiple references to the new hires bringing renewed energy, motivation, and enthusiasm

Miles seems genuinely engaged and confident with these hires

Steele seemed a bit nervous but did well answering the softball questions he was tossed

Orgeron owned the room and his references to coming home, family and togetherness was genius.

Miles followup Q&A showed us that he knows these hires were a good decision and he is going to quickly see the fruits of this on NSD

I also kind of get the Steele hire now. He seems to be a fairly low key guy, so bringing in O may have narrowed the DC field a bit. Meaning Orgeron has a big enough personality so bringing another coach as DC with a big or difficult type of personality may have been tough for Miles to manage.
