Trevor is going to have another huge day on the ground vs their defense. LSU's DB's seem to give up on plays and are not as near physical as OSU's DBs were. Ross and Higgins are going to have a BIG day

They have never watched an Lsu game this year. They are banking everything on plumlees 4.2 speed.

Simmons will line up all over, but will end up flying from his initial position to cover a center shallow zone and disrupt our slant routes.

So Burrow looks short and or pump fakes to the slant to freeze the safety then goes deep to Marshall or Chase. They are screwed no matter what they do, unless it's hitting Joe within 2-3 seconds.

That is pretty much the mantra on their site. I mean, at least be objective and look at some other games, say the last 3 we played. I don't think they understand how this team has grown since Bama.

It's amazing that Alabama only lost that game by 5 considering how many mistakes they made and Tua coming off an injury. I feel a lot better about this game after seeing how they performed against the best team on their schedule.

Not looking at the other sides mistakes I see.

The key will be recognition post snap.

Tua last year, made pre-snap reads.
He did not come off of them.

JB does far less of that.
JB will also be tuned into the deception.

If we get recognitions right, this will be a CU Safety/Lb match up game for LSU. Simmons is a phenom. He is easily the best Lb we will have faced this year. But there is only one of him. Venables will try to blitz him, but if he cannot ring up sacks, he'll have to drop into coverage.

Yes confusing Little Joe just after the snap is the key for our defense - that and not giving up big plays. We won't stop your offense, but we will slow down your scoring enough for our offense to outscore you.

That's the other thing - I don't think that y'all can stop our offense either. So it's going to come down to efficiency and maybe turnovers.

Tua had a VERY bad interception right before the half that also led to 7 points for LSU. Bama's LB's were also out of position A LOT.
both of these are scheme and film study kudos to LSU. Not unforced Bama errors as this guy implies.

Yeah. Burrow talked about his schemes being confusing and Clemson's defensive players being smart to play in that defense. I guarantee you Joe is holed up in some room watching every look Clemson has given in the last 2-3 years because he said Clemson tries to take away the ability to read the defense before the snap (which is one of Burrow's most awesome abilities). His accuracy ain't bad either though.

However, even if you fake Burrow out, you still have to beat LSU's talent on any given play and the talent is significant. It will be very exciting.

I don't think Joe will be confused. However, Tiny Trevor will be running for his life. And not towards the end zone.

New England beat the Greatest Show on Turf in the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

Tom Brady gets the credit for a Suoer Bowl win but he was pretty pedestrian.

The story of the game was how New England’s defense was able to significantly slow down that high powered offense.

I assume that New England stole the signals and knew the play calls. I can’t stop thinking about that game because of the similarities of the teams.

Confuse little Joe? You mean Heisman winner Joe Burreaux? Record setting Joe? Many have tried, all have failed. This offense will adjust.
Stop big plays? Not gonna happen. Too many weapons.
Out score LSU by slowing them down? That is Clemson’s objective. Nobody has done it yet. Not gonna happen on the 13th.
Can’t stop your offense? Don’t need to, but we will stop them enough to beat ya by 3 TD’s.

JB > TL in efficiency and it's not even close. If it does come down to this, LSU wins big. Unless Clemson can create some goofy successful plays, they lose. LSU will win the X's and O's.

RPO also gives us last read if run bitz is confusing us pre snap.

tranny boy did not look efficient or great at all downfield passing. 3 of your 4 scores came from backfield. we will contain tranny and etienne.

Joe Burrow has seen it all. It doesn't matter what BV throws as him, Joe is unstoppable.

More concerned with Aranda’s Scheme. This will likely determine W or L.

LSU’s Offense will find ways to score. Probably gonna be on LSU’s D to limit Clem’s big plays.

Crowd participation on Clem’s 3rd down plays will matter too.
