Potential NCAA enforcement changes:
— HC responsible for any staff violation w/o exception
— Banning coaches from postseason instead of teams (i.e. bowl ban)
— multi-million $$ fines
— scholarship losses follow coaches
— penalties for trashing NCAA enforcement in public comments

We could be out of the hot water if this is true!

Other than this part

coaches — penalties for trashing NCAA enforcement in public comments

this all makes a lot more sense. It’s always been BS coaches can just bail (Calipari) and leave players behind getting “punished”, especially a few years later and they had nothing to do with it

coaches should be able to fairly criticize when warranted (Oklahoma State coaach recently)

Okie St is a good example of why it's dumb. If the head coach is responsible for everything then Brad Underwood, who had already left for Illinois, would've gotten punished for an assistant taking money from FBI entrapers going as far back to when he worked at South Carolina.

So the “if you’re a blue blood we’ll most likely look the other way” rule is still in effect?

Exactly. Only pathetic weak ADs that cower to the powerless NCAA ever get sanctioned. Tell ‘em to frick off and they are harmless.
