Jeff Hundley of Sugar Bowl tells @WWLAMFM that there are discussions about having @LSUfootball return in several years for another game similar to the Florida State contest Sunday night. #LSU

Would love to get an LSU-Michigan matchup in the Dome and then at Ford Field.

Yea too bad these schools don’t each have 100,000 seat stadiums on campus that would certainly sell out, to host such a hypothetical series

Or just play them at Tiger stadium and go to The Big House.

An LSU home and home with Michigan in Baton Rouge and then Ann Arbor would be unbelievably awesome.

An LSU/Michigan two game series in the Superdome and Ford Field would be a major disappointment.

Home and homes are def more preferable, but it looks like these neutral site games are here to stay.

Especially now with 12 team playoff. You can lose 2 games now and be fine

Why are these neutral site games a thing again? What is the benefit of doing them instead of a home-home series?

Hopefully the playoff expansion yields better nonconference home games. Can lose a tough game and still have a shot at the playoff. Guess we’ll see.

There are only 3 neutral site games this year to open the season, if you count Dublin. Things are actually Trending back to home and home.

Hard for either school to turndown the pay day that was offered for this game.

I would love it. I went to the LSU BYU game several years ago and have tickets for Sunday. I wish LSU played in the dome once a year.

Source tells me @LSUfootball will be paid nearly $5.2 million dollars for their appearance in Sunday night's game vs Florida State. #LSU

Perhaps the biggest factor in the #LSU - FSU neutral site agreement, is the return the Tigers make next season to Orlando. If this were a home-and-home, #LSU doesn't get paid squat - maybe $500,000. Instead, they'll collect over $5 million again and again with no overhead.

Makes no sense to buy season tickets in sports anymore.

For a fanbase/booster base that shells out 17m to get rid of O after 9m to get rid of les, then 100m to get BK... Not to mention coordinators etc...

cry me a frickin river for that 5m check. How much does the secn pay every year? Right.

Home and home or you're screwing ticket holders
