And Wisconsin >>>>>>>> Iowa

It's really not debatable.

To most people there's not a difference between Wisky and Iowa. Certainly not big enough to make a huge difference.

In 04, Iowa beat Wisky in the final game of the season by 23. They also finished with a better record in conference. They were the clear choice for the Cap One.

This year, Iowa and Penn St would finish with the same conference record. And the win by Iowa over PSU would be very early in the year. Iowa would end the season with two losses in their final 3 games.

Not to mention that, like SFP said, PSU has way more national appeal than Iowa, while, even if Wisky does have a little more than Iowa, it's really not much.

Idk I was totally blown away by the support by Iowa at the Cap one bowl in 05. Iowa had way more fans than LSU, they said they'll do anything to get away from their state and 2 foot of snow for new years.

I think if your strickly comparing support and traveling for your team it would have to be even for Iowa vs. Wisconsin. But just cause the state doesn't seem as impressive doesn't tell the whole story. You have to give Iowa credit, they travel very well and support their team no matter what. Capitol one bowl people would not feel apprehensive giving them the bid based on past support and ticket sales thats for sure.
