Post-Miles hangover: anyone else have it?

Since Miles got canned, I notice that I've consistently underrated the Tigers:
• I had LSU–Ole Miss as a tossup
• I had Bama beating us easily, with only a last minute TD bringing the final score to a respectable 27-17
• I had us losing to Arky 28-27 in a typical post-Bama blues scenario
• I'm predicting a 27-9 Tiger win over UF, a relatively conservative prediction given that half their team is out with injuries
I'm hardly a first-rate football analyst, but I think there's another factor here: I'm making my calculations as though Miles was still here, playing with the same appalling inconsistency and underperformance that characterized CLM's last 3 years here.
The obvious truth is that the Tigers are a different team now–or at least playing much better than the team I've watched over the past 3+ years.
I guess the much improved performance will take some time to get used to. But I'm confident I can adjust.

No...Miles is a distant memory (that doesnt mean I wont bash here on the Rant) but I dont even think about him on game day. Our team is playing much better and with so much confidence....unlike the teams of the past under Miles.
I actually look forward to Saturdays now!!!

If we had fired Les last year, we would have one loss and headed to the playoffs--just like Bama in 2011. That's a fact

I just feel that this year is a total waste when you look at how much talent is on this team.

Roger that! Should have been a shoo-in for the playoffs!

Goes to show you how much of a brainless potato head Miles was. MAN that dude was HORRIBLE.

I let him go the day he was fired.

I don't think about Miles at all. But I'm so used to seeing sloppy underperformance on the field over these past few years, I'm almost conditioned to expect it now. It's almost like a bad habit that grows over time.
But gradually it'll sink in: with better coaching we can compete with the elite. Tiger football is fun again.

Actually as time goes on I am more and more frustrated with Miles and his
unwillingness to change. This is from a Miles supported but its obvious now he set the program back a few years.

I definitely have it. it's going away tho. I have been really having fun watching LSU but I keep finding myself "assuming" bad things are going to happen. like OL penalties on third and short; having to call time outs; the play not getting in until there is about 7-8 seconds on the clock, etc, etc.
i'm missing a lot of play calls now also. I swear I used to be able to predict most of them.

My rear-view mirror fell off somewhere between Fayetteville and Fort Smith.

I am LSU first before a coach.

Les who? That guy that always talks about winning a national championship in Greek!

No it is much more fun to watch the games now
Hopefully the clogged toilet offense is gone from LSU forever

Nah.
Doesn't even cross my mind.
I think the Tigers are pumped for each game.
The players expected to beat Alabama but came up short.
Next opponent UF. - WIN -

After every game that is played it becomes more and more clear how fricking dense the sunshine pumpers were. Good grief it was clear as day that Miles was seriously holding us back.

Hadn't really thought about it but, yeah. I find myself waiting for the boneheaded move to rear it's ugly head and, for the most part, it hasn't. The guys look fresh and confident each game. The offense looks to exploit weaknesses and actually uses audibles, which we rarely saw before (i.e. - hot receiver swing pass to Fournete). However, the rot-gut liquor hangover of the past is slowly subsiding. Definitely excited for Saturdays again. Only problem now is this Saturday will be the last home game.
Take care of bidness, Tigers, and let's wreck the Sugar Bowl
