We definitely start the Baton Rouge Super Regional Saturday, if Oregon wins tonight.
What's the reasoning behind this other than 1, 4, 5, 8 starting on Saturday for the past 4 years? Why could 2 west coast SRs not start in the Friday site 3 and 4 times? That would give LSU site 1 or 2.

Don't expect those times to be announced early, since Oregon won't be done until 11pm and if they lose, Rice is going to NCState and will only leave 2 regionals in the Pacific Time Zone, One in the Central, and Five in Eastern.
IMO, we should all be Rice fans tonight, because then they don't have problems with making sites 1,5,6 all eastern time zone games.

I think ESPN puts SC/UNC in the best spots...#1 seed vs. a team that has played in the title round 3 years in a row. I think LSU/OU is a close second in pecking order.

Only problem is we are on the same side of the bracket, so we should be playing on the same days (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday)

Hopefully this:

Site 7: Saturday 6:00, Sunday 6:00, Monday 6:00
Or this:

Site 3: Friday 6:00, Saturday 3:00, Sunday 6:00

@CB_Daily: The #NCAA just told us the announcement on the Super Regional schedule will happen right after the #Oregon #Rice game that starts at 9pm EST

Yeah, I got that...I'm just saying that I think ESPN will figure out what their two most "valuable" time slots are, whatever they happen to be, and put those two matchups there, if they can.

If Oregon wins, we should be site 2. If Rice wins, we should be site 3. That's my guess at this point and I have nothing to base that opinion off of at all except it makes the most sense.

So LSU and Fullerton should both either be F-S or S-M since they are on the same side of the bracket, right?
Kind of hoping its S-M since I have a wedding rehearsal on Friday night and a wedding on Saturday night.

IF we are this side of the bracket:
- Fullerton is guaranteed site 4.
- I'd place my bets on UNC/USCe at site 3.
So you better hope to the high heavens that Rice wins tonight, otherwise, we are stuck with site 1 by default.
And I don't think they put our side of the bracket in the Saturday/Monday if Oregon wins:
Because that means Fullerton and Oregon would get 7/8 and the other times aren't the best for the pending USCe/UNC and LSU/OU

Site 2: Friday 3:00, Saturday 2:00, Sunday 3:00
Site 3: Friday 6:00, Saturday 3:00, Sunday 6:00
Site 4: Friday 6:00, Saturday 9:00, Sunday 9:00 (likely west coast)
