I don't feel sorry for him at all. He's partially responsible for the current mess because he was D line coach, one of the main recruiters, and is personally responsible for the attrition this past offseason.
He also knew before he took that job that every loss, and every ugly win, would bring out the torches and pitchforks.

Can't really feel sorry for him. He parlayed Miles situation into a coup for himself and at worst , he can get ole standby, Derek Ponamsky to run interference for him.

Maybe he's realizing that the sophisticated schemes of his highly paid co-ordinators are hard to implement when you have players with double-digit I.Q's. Seems inexcusable to me that players are scholastically in-eligible, don't know the plays, or have off-the-field issues that keep them out of the game. Maybe they just don't have enough time left after they perfect their taunting and celebration rituals.
Don't they give these guys intelligence and character evaluations? The pass interference call that took away the touchdown was a direct result of the other receiver waving his arms in the air as if to be saying "look at me,look at me"...it worked...the ref saws him!
