Pondering a Bit on Today's Game

Top four in line up: 1 for 15
Freshmen Zach Watson and Josh Smith accounted for all three runs, 5 for 7.
Bottom three in line up: 1 for 9.
Lange of course was great and if he'd not gotten hosed on a couple of calls that were strikes, he goes unscathed.
And the Night Shift Manager comes in and only strikes out 4 of the 5 he faced.
So, my excitement is that besides Lange, our freshmen carried the day and won the game for us.
Now, downvote all you want.

Your first thread was more entertaining.

You cannot complain about getting hosed on calls today.

Yep, I shake pretty bad when typing and must have posted and not knowing. Don't know how to delete a screw up. Sorry.
At my age I am proud to be able to be up so late and find out how to post anything at all on here.
But this old cuss loves our Tigers and can't control myself.

True, we out hosed OS at least when it mattered most.

Top of the lineup has been garbage all CWS. It seems every game there's been a graphic in the 7th or 8th inning that says the top 4-5 batters are 1-15.
Bottom of the lineup, sans Jordan, had been carrying this team during this hot streak.

The bottom of the lineup has improved during this hotstreak, but don't act like Rob/Freeman/Dup have been struggling this entire time.

pretty easy to double post...most everyone has done it at one time or another. in the future, just hit the "request admin" button on one of them and ask to have it removed. no harm, though

bullshite. One makeup call would have been enough. There were about 15 of them. When the pitcher asks the ump in frustration "where is the strike zone?", I can complain all I want.
That shitty home plate ump seemed like he was trying to make up for the foul ball for three innings. The fact that Lange was able to overcome him is incredible. That guy made a concerted effort to hand OS the game and Lange denied him.

LSU gave up 2 hits with that wishy-washy strike zone... Oregon State had two runs erased with the foul call.
