Anyone who thinks the opposite is a pathetic fan. LSU does not and SHOULD not measure their success by what Bama does. Our success shouldn't be measured by that game alone either. We are not aTm thinking that as long as we beat Texas it is a good season. We could beat Bama 15 years in a row, if we lose 3 games every year it won't even matter.

I didn't mean that the question itself was stupid. More that anyone who answers that Bama's success is what they measure a good season for LSU by is stupid.

I'd be way more upset with 9-3. That means we lost to Bama and somebody we have no business losing to.

Hey dickhead, I've been through the bullshite with football long enough to not get all butthurt and emotionally wrecked if LSU drops a game or two in the SEC West. But to answer back to you, I'd put it like this: When Saban ended up at Bama, it was personal to me. We go back and forth a few games. Then when we beat them last year and then had to play them AGAIN, in the NC of all places, and they fricking skulldragged us, it took it to the next level for me. I'd rather beat Bama EVERYTIME, and I'd drop one or two or three every other year if you could tell me that would be the case. frick Alabama for life.
