Guess their 7 lefty starters convinced him. I don't mind it at all. He's been pitching great lately and TCU isn't a great hitting team.

Poche is definitely the better matchup against TCU. Our top two have both been pitching so well lately, the order doesn't matter that much anyway. I like the move.

He's also the most likely to be able to bounce back on short rest in case you need to pitch him in game 4 or 5 from the loser's bracket.

I like this move. Be great to have Lange for the winners bracket game also. Then he would be set up to pitch 1st or 2nd game of championship series...Yes I am assuming we win the first 3

The big thing though is that now you can only throw Lange once in the double elimination group. If he starts first you could probably throw him again if we needed him the next Saturday.

We have to play it this way if we want to win it all. The first two games are vital. Have to win game 2 as much as 1. I like saving Lange. Love it actually.

I usually prefer starting off with the ace, but looking at the matchup, this is the right move.
