Plenty of LSU fans at the casino with views on Coach Kelly,

Kelly’s a better than average coach who is used to competing against Indiana, Boston College, Illinois and Navy. But he’s not used to the constant competition of the SEC. Last year means nothing if you can’t keep recruiting, improving and competing. Reminds some of Aub’s past coaching hires that didn’t hold up.
Believe Kelly may get it done eventually at LSU but he’s got to hire better staff for that to happen. Not wholesale changes but definitely changes on defense. Kelly brought ND to the playoffs yet ND was willing to let him go.

Inexcusable.
So for $10M/ yr, what does he actually do?
Not a DC
Not an OC
Not training a position
Not a recruiting guru
Not a good motivator
So seriously, what does he do?

I wouldn't put too much stock in the opinions of people who are dumb enough to piss their money away.

Find & be responsible for someone else doing those things. And he’s earned some latitude, based on last year plus the offense/Jayden’s progress so far

Playing poker against other LSU fans not the casino. Big difference. Most bet plenty on sports here, so most are educated on what’s going on. More so than some fans posting on TD.

It squares up like Barry Bonds hitting .298 squares up. LSU isn’t paying him to be perfect, just to give us a higher than average probability of success, knowing that if we’re in it(competitive) enough times, eventually we’ll find home. And BK does that better than any of the other candidates available when we were hiring. How would our defense be under Lincoln?
